A. Holland

I am an observer. I parse visual information in our physical world and process it as earnest data. I celebrate the dilapidated, the resilient, and the shared experience of all things weighed on by time and labor. Objects are a byproduct of intensive research, informed by an exhaustive period of experimentation and observation. I am more compelled by failure and the absence of an "art object" than a refined object that lacks substance.

I seek homogeny between my physical memory as a practiced mason and the poetics of my own internal dialogue. I highlight the humble, dissect the discarded, and engage all material with tenacity and love.
